Fantastic few months since I last wrote. Highlights:
August:Judging the Best of Raw Chocolate Contest at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Mendocino satisfied our most cultivated epicurian tastes. And I particularly enjoyed romping around the woods with my fellow judges in a cacao-infused blaze. Now I want to taste a hemp-seed cacao treat to enliven my eager buds. The Reeses of the hemp-chocolate world...I challenge you, chefs!
September:The vital hemp booth at Bhaktifest formed a nexus for spontaneous embraces, inspired by the divinely moving music and the feeling of being surrounded by the living desert nature of Joshua Tree. We love you all, bhakti spirits, and thank you for being so deeply "in the bhav" with us.
Two weeks later, the Raw Spirit Fest opened its arms to soothe our overcooked souls. Thanks to all the youthful raw spirits who reunited with us, among the old rocks of Prescott, AZ.
Also in September, the Abbott Kinney Fest found us closer to home, peddling hemp to the locals with a new banner I painted at 3:30 am the night before, having left the others with the Raw Spirit Crew. Thanks to the new hempers and hempettes who helped run all these booths.
Now October provides a much needed rest, but not before one more blowout:
